About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Professor to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will create high‑quality, exam‑ready assessment content for graduate‑level mechanical engineering courses, ensuring technical accuracy and pedagogical rigor.

Key responsibilities

• Design and author single‑option assessment questions covering advanced mechanical engineering topics.
• Translate complex engineering concepts into challenging, exam‑quality items.
• Develop detailed explanations and rationales for each answer choice.
• Review and validate the technical accuracy of AI‑generated materials.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the content team to refine and improve material quality.
• Conduct quality checks and revisions on contributed content.

Required profile

• PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• University‑level teaching experience.
• Experience authoring, grading, or reviewing graduate‑level exams or coursework.
• Ability to convert complex principles into exam‑ready content.
• Background in assessment design or educational content creation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
