Machine Operator / Driver

About the role

The Machine Operator / Driver is responsible for operating specialised vehicles used in construction projects such as road, pipeline and rail works. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and coordination with site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Apply all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Prepare for each shift by reviewing work plans, transporting vehicles to the site, installing signage and establishing safe access roads.
• Adjust and inspect equipment and vehicles before operation to ensure proper functioning.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with required authorisations, maintaining safety at all times.
• Follow precise directives from supervisors and report any anomalies.
• Maintain vehicles after use, perform minor repairs, and conduct post‑use inspections while complying with environmental regulations.

• Valid authorisations to operate the specific types of vehicles required for the project.
