About the role

The College Guidance Counselor provides comprehensive counseling, guidance, and wellness services that support students' personal, emotional, academic, social, career, and spiritual growth. Working within a faith‑centered environment, the role promotes mental wellness, resilience, healthy relationships, and responsible decision‑making through counseling, interventions, wellness programs, crisis support, and collaborative student‑care initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, personal, and mental‑health counseling to students.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, wellness programs, seminars, and retreats.
• Support students in building resilience, self‑awareness, career discernment, and responsible decision‑making.
• Respond to crisis situations, coordinate referrals, and ensure timely support.
• Promote mental‑health awareness, inclusion, accessibility, and holistic wellness across campus.
• Collaborate with faculty, parents, campus ministry, and external professionals for comprehensive student support.
• Maintain confidential records, reports, and case documentation.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating guidance and wellness programs aligned with institutional values.

• Experience with seminars, retreats, wellness programs, crisis intervention, and case management is an advantage.
• Exposure to faith‑based institutions, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives preferred.
