Legal Specialist (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. You will work closely with domain experts and product teams to ensure contracts and legal processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to optimize outcomes while managing risk.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis, delivering actionable recommendations.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution by preparing documentation and assisting counsel.
• Assess regulatory compliance and conduct due diligence for corporate matters, including M&A.
• Design system prompts and rubrics for legal applications, managing multi‑turn conversational flows.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all communications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and improve legal tools and applications.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.
• Experience in case analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence.
