Legal Advisor – Financial Markets & Institutional Banking

About the role

The Legal Advisor will support the Financial Markets Segment (FMS) and Institutional Banking Group (IBG) by delivering high‑quality, timely legal and regulatory guidance. You will work closely with management and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance across a range of banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and draft, review, and revise documentation for derivatives, loan syndication, credit structuring, collateral management, and other banking products.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with business activities.
• Prepare and manage reports related to risk and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal solutions with commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and banking products.
• Excellent analytical and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with senior management and external parties.
