Junior/Mid Software Developer – Application Support & Development

About the role

This position provides both software support and development services with a strong focus on customer service, technical expertise, and timely delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with business units and the Technology Group to maintain and enhance corporate systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and resolve application support requests from end‑users.
• Communicate effectively with the user community and assist other IT teams on integration issues.
• Run ad‑hoc database queries, troubleshoot, and isolate problems at both database and code levels.
• Design and develop application interfaces, both as standalone features and as part of larger integrated solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications/websites, including SQL function development and database object design.
• Stay updated on technical enhancements and new functionalities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite at the Intellectual Property Center, McKinley Hill, Taguig City.
• High initiative, strong interpersonal and written/oral English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on AM or graveyard shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with C#, JavaScript, React, Python, ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework (EF 6 / EF Core).
• Experience with ECMAScript 6, HTML, CSS, Microsoft SQL, and Web APIs.
• Knowledge of IIS server performance tuning, remote debugging, and load testing.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control.
