Junior IT Security Engineer Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Junior IT Security Engineer Supervisor to strengthen and secure our enterprise infrastructure across cloud, endpoint, identity, and application environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to monitor security, respond to incidents, and implement modern cybersecurity tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve security solutions across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity platforms.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Zero Trust controls, and secure access solutions.
• Operate SIEM and EDR tools, including Splunk and CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Lead security incident investigations, threat hunting, and remediation efforts.
• Develop detection rules, dashboards, and security automation workflows.
• Support vulnerability management, audits, compliance, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party providers on security initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of networking, endpoint security, IAM, and cloud security.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and major cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with incident response frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP security.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) and CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Security certifications (e.g., CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, CISSP) are a plus.
