About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our BPO team in Bacolod. The role involves providing first‑ and second‑level technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring that hardware, software, and network issues are resolved promptly, especially during night‑shift operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver daily first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software, and network problems.
- Escalate complex tickets to senior IT teams when needed.
- Set up new devices, install software, and configure peripherals according to company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance on desktops, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
- Guide users on basic troubleshooting, security awareness, and safe computing practices.
- Maintain accurate asset records and ensure all tickets are logged in the ticketing system.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology roll‑outs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
- Strong customer‑service orientation and good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals and cabling management.
- Awareness of basic cybersecurity principles, including virus removal and data protection.
