Head of Regulatory Affairs – Philippines

About the role

The position leads regulatory affairs activities for pharmaceutical products in the Philippines, supporting market entry, product registrations, lifecycle management and regulatory strategy execution. Reporting into the APAC regulatory structure, the role works closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure compliance and facilitate business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regulatory submissions, approvals, renewals and variations for pharmaceutical products in the Philippines.
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Philippine Food and Drug Administration and other local authorities.
• Provide regulatory guidance to commercial, medical and quality teams.
• Monitor regulatory policy developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Support product launches and ongoing lifecycle management activities.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams across APAC markets to share best practices and ensure consistent compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related discipline with a valid pharmacist licence.
• Significant experience in regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Philippine regulatory frameworks and submission processes.
• Ability to work independently in a developing market environment.
• Excellent communication skills with regional and global stakeholders.
