Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Join Macquarie’s global technology team to design, develop, test and implement enhancements for Risk Technology applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders and fellow engineers to deliver robust full‑stack solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support both in‑house and third‑party systems.
• Design, code, configure, test and document new or enhanced components.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure high‑quality technical specifications.
• Provide operational support and resolve issues quickly.
• Integrate solutions smoothly with existing platforms.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in application development and support.
• Strong background in full‑stack engineering, preferably with Java or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database design, optimized queries, RESTful APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Exposure to modern UI frameworks (React, Node.js/Nest.js) and GRC platforms is a plus.
