Financial Controller – End-to-End Financial Controlling

About the role

This senior-level Financial Controller role offers ownership of end‑to‑end financial controlling for a large multinational organization operating in a highly regulated, asset‑intensive industry. Based in Pasay, the position is hybrid, providing a balance of on‑site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee legal entity financial controlling, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate records.
• Review month‑end close outputs and enforce compliance with group accounting policies.
• Perform detailed financial statement analysis and sign‑off for group consolidation.
• Deliver performance reporting focused on balance‑sheet and profit‑and‑loss analysis.
• Prepare variance analyses and management commentaries explaining key movements.
• Act as primary finance contact for regional leadership on statement accuracy and compliance.
• Lead pre‑close activities, coordinate with finance operations, and resolve issues early.
• Execute balance‑sheet reconciliations and address discrepancies with business finance teams.
• Support resolution of complex accounting matters and handle audit, reporting, and internal control queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controlling practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, MBA) preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in accounting, controlling, financial analysis, or reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP.
• Experience in a shared‑services or multinational environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
