Finance Specialist – Global Accounting & Controlling

About the role

The Finance Specialist will support Global Accounting and Controlling functions by ensuring efficient finance operations, high‑quality reporting, and stable system workflows across the organization. This position focuses on recurring, process‑based activities that follow standardized templates and can be scaled globally.

Key responsibilities

• Assist month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, including FX‑rate preparation and sales reconciliation.
• Provide intercompany reconciliation support and follow‑up.
• Prepare template‑based reporting sections such as charts and tables.
• Monitor reporting calendars, send reminders to data owners, and track submission status and KPI performance.
• Manage rejected reports, workflow follow‑ups, and update monthly non‑personnel cost reports.
• Administer Concur for spend and travel management.
• Support Tagetik consolidation tool implementation, including UAT and migration activities.
• Perform data testing during UAT and migration phases and create user documentation and training materials.
• Maintain SAP/BI master data entries for accounting and costing views and conduct regular data quality checks.
• Assist in the creation and analysis of product cost estimates and collect sustainability data for first‑level validation.

Required profile

• Experience in corporate accounting, controlling, or finance operations within a global environment.
• Familiarity with month‑end closing processes, intercompany reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work with standardized templates and follow structured workflows.
• Strong attention to data quality and reporting accuracy.
