Filipino Language & Culture Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Filipino Language & Culture to join Nord Anglia International School Manila. The successful candidate will deliver the Filipino DepEd K‑12 curriculum to secondary students, fostering engagement and cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adapt the Filipino language and culture curriculum in line with the DepEd K‑12 framework.
• Promote high levels of student engagement and achievement through innovative teaching methods.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school‑wide educational innovation.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events supporting holistic student development.
• Build strong relationships with parents, students and the wider school community.

Required profile

• University degree and recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PRC Teaching License).
• Extensive experience teaching Filipino language and culture at secondary level, preferably in an international school setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undertake child protection training.
• Current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.
• Compliance with visa requirements for working in the Philippines.
