Director of Freight Forwarding

About the role

The Director of Freight Forwarding leads the company’s pricing and freight forwarding functions across air, sea, and land logistics. This senior position drives strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen client relationships, and increase profitability while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all pricing and freight forwarding operations for air, sea, and land transportation.
• Supervise shipment coordination, logistics processes, and global supply‑chain activities to guarantee timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with international agents, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and key clients.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs policies, and trade requirements.
• Monitor freight pricing structures, operational costs, and revenue performance to maintain competitiveness.
• Set and evaluate performance targets for operations and business units.
• Provide leadership to pricing and freight forwarding department heads and teams.
• Resolve escalated issues such as shipment delays, service disruptions, and client concerns.
• Prepare and present operational and business performance reports to top management.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS Customs Administration or equivalent.
• Licensed Custom Broker.
• Minimum of 5 years solid experience in a similar senior logistics role.
• Willingness to work on‑site at Ermita Center Building, Ermita, Manila.
