Design Engineer – Formwork & Scaffolding Solutions

About the role

As a Design Engineer in the ECC Design Team, you will independently create and manage complex formwork, climbing systems, infrastructures, shoring, and scaffolding solutions using PERI products. You will ensure designs comply with PERI guidelines, best practices, and European standards while optimizing cost and structural efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage complex formwork, climbing, infrastructure, shoring, and scaffolding solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings, material take‑offs, and static design calculations.
• Perform advanced static calculations and structural analysis using PERI Force Control, RSTAB, Static Tool, and related software.
• Review offer drawings, GADs, BQs, and calculations before Lead Engineer approval.
• Check assembly and fabrication drawings prior to submission.
• Prioritize projects based on assembly time, equipment sourcing, and delivery schedules.
• Support new product strategy development aligned with PERI’s global roadmap.
• Participate in project kick‑off meetings and brief Formwork Instructors before site deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in complex formwork, climbing, infrastructure, shoring, scaffold design, and special steel solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams.
