Data Center Site Operations Manager

About the role

The Data Center Site Operations Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end day‑to‑day operation of a mission‑critical data centre. Reporting to the Head of North Sites Operations, the role ensures continuous availability, operational reliability, energy efficiency, safety and high‑quality service delivery in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 99.999% operational uptime and achieve PUE targets (≤ 1.5).
• Ensure 100% adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage incidents and service disruptions within defined SLA targets.
• Operate the site within an approved budget (±5% variance).
• Guarantee a safe, secure and resilient environment with zero safety or security incidents per quarter.
• Lead, develop and motivate a 24/7 site operations team, ensuring 100% completion of required training and certifications.
• Drive employee engagement, performance against KPIs such as response time and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing data centre site operations and critical infrastructure.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with direct supervisory responsibility.
• Ability to work under strict uptime, compliance and SLA requirements.
• Experience budgeting and operating within defined financial limits.
