Construction Warehouse Staff

About the role

The Construction Warehouse Staff ensures that all construction materials and equipment are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. This onsite position supports multiple construction sites by managing material flow and monitoring warehouse personnel attendance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials such as cement, steel, pipes, tools, and equipment.
• Organize and store materials according to safety and company standards.
• Prepare, issue, and dispatch materials for construction sites based on requisitions.
• Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, damages, or missing items, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist in regular stock audits and ensure proper handling of heavy and hazardous items.
• Track daily attendance of warehouse workers and site personnel, prepare reports, and submit them to the project engineer or HR department.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries from suppliers while following workplace safety rules.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a warehouse staff, preferably in construction.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends if required.
• Knowledge of construction tools, materials, inventory systems, and attendance recording.
• Basic computer skills for reporting (advantageous).
