About the role
We are seeking a BPO Trainer with solid experience in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and the travel industry to lead onboarding, product, and refresher training programs. The role focuses on developing learning resources, evaluating trainee performance, and supporting client‑specific training needs.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate new‑hire, product, process, and refresher training sessions.
- Develop and update training materials, job aids, and learning resources.
- Conduct training needs analysis and identify performance gaps.
- Assess trainee performance through evaluations, nesting support, and certification activities.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Leadership teams to drive performance improvement.
- Monitor training effectiveness and recommend learning interventions.
- Prepare training reports, completion metrics, and stakeholder updates.
- Support client training requirements and process transitions.
Required profile
- Prior experience supporting the Expedia account or program.
- Minimum 2 years of trainer experience in a BPO environment.
- Background in GDS and Expedia is preferred.
- Experience facilitating training for Travel, Hospitality, or OTA accounts is highly preferred.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience in curriculum development, adult learning methodologies, and performance coaching.
- Willingness to work onsite and on shifting schedules.
