Academic Officer – Machine Learning Section

About the role

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen seeks an Academic Officer to support the Machine Learning Section. The role involves contributing to AI research projects with a focus on sustainability and computational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update software tools used in machine learning research, including parameter adjustments for new data samples.
• Document software tools and changes in clear, descriptive language to ensure reproducibility.
• Review and provide feedback on research reports produced by project members.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a comparable discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in Bash or similar scripting languages.
